Description
This is a braided stainless oil hose that connects the threaded fitting on the engine block to the oil pressure gauge hard line on 63 to 67 cars or the electric sender on 68 to 80 cars. Having this short flex hose is necessary to accommodate vibration and the movement between the engine and body while your MGB is running. With use this flexiable hose will start to deteriate and fail, causing engine oil leak from the hose. Since this is a consumable item it should be inspected every oil change. Because if this line breaks, it is under pressure and will empty your engine of oil in under 3 minutes of driving. Engine oil is very important to your MGB and we want to keep it on the inside where it can do its job of lubricating key parts. Cross Ref.# 376-180, BHH1958
