This is a top entry screw down style distributor cap that was used on the Jaguar XK120 (from engine W.6538) and all Jaguar XK140. Cap comes complete with Acorn numbers and ignition wire washers. With use and time, distributor caps will crack and cause a mis-fire. Always keep a spare distributor cap and rotor in the trunk of your Jaguar XK120 or Jaguar XK140.
