Description
This is a camshaft locating plate for a Triumph TR250, TR6, GT6, Spitfire, and Midget 1500. With the design of the Triumph engine, the camshaft is aways being pushed forward, and will wear on the locating plate. If the plate wears the camshaft it can move back and forth in the engine, causing abnormal wear on the drive gear, timing gears, and lifters. Every time you replace the camshaft you should replace the locating plate.
